Application Compatibility Toolkit - SQL Express DB error

hi all

i have created virtual server win 2008 r2, installed sqlexpress ,
application compatibility toolkit.

when run act , try create database can connect me database
(local)\sqlexpress no databases appear in box below. can type name
of database , click create, when red error saying:

"this database not compatible application"

i check sql server manager studio , has created database. have
checked permissions think relevant:

(local)\administrator has "dbcreator" server role

(local)\administrator has database ticked in "user mapping" , db_owner,
db_datareader, db_datawriter , public permissions

under database - security - users have administrator account ,
service "nt service\mssql$sqlexpress" (this account sql
server service runs according services)

in database security heading, local\administrator account has
db_owner, db-datareader , db-datawriter "membership"

the service has db_datareader , db_datawriter "membership"

i absolutely stumped causing message. funnily
enough did 6 months ago, had same problem ,
found solution cant life of me remember did.

any greatfully received, must common issue
seems happen every time install using sqlexpress , act

the service account id must “real” database owner rather member of db_owner role of act database.
