i unable install business contact manager outlook 2007.  i sought in bcm forum , developer spoke came conclusion sql server express problem experiencing, , recommended come here help. i running on vista ultimate. every attempt have made install bcm (and later sql express server 2005 separately, see below) has failed @ same point, same error message: "sql server setup not connect database service server configuration. error was: [microsoft][sql native client][sql server]login failed user 'sa'. today attempted install sql express server sp2 separately on own, idea being if worked, i might able install bcm on top of it.  attempted sql ee sp2 installation after uninstalling remnants of previous installations best of ablity. sp2 installation failed @ same point, , had same appearance, saw in all prior attempts.  (the installer reported no errors or warnings in system checks prior beginning actual install.) here summary log trial: microsoft sql server 2005 9.00.3042.00 =========

i'm going cross post vs2010 forums; every since installed jet brains rc, few days ago, can't install/uninstall anything. windows update reports error 1, language pack problem. i'm running windows 7 pro, not support lanaguage packs. have not gotten trying uninstall silverlight 4rc. jet brains support says installer broke. report uninstall/silverlight 4 install/uninstall problems. vs2010 won't work without silverlight 4 anyway. imho. well, gave , reinstalled windows 7 pro de novo. installing vs2010 fresh , clean, install sl4. i'm not going install jet brains per experience. my feeling one version playing broke computer; kept complaining lanaguage packs when don't use in win pro. adventure costs me days , days of productivity , had no diagnostics or clues why installer broke/shattered badly not remove / uninstall stuff.   now think renewing my msdn subscription; many of these systems developed on fresh machines without any history , when rele

hi,   i facing scenario unsure best way handle.   scenario: controla has 2 two custom visualstates, let’s call them “stateon” , “stateoff”. i apply template on controla, let’s call “templatea”. “templatea” has 1 control under of type controlb (who’s unaware of stateon/off). controlb has template handles visualstate changes of controla, namely, stateon , stateoff.   problem: controlb not receive changes visualstates fired on controla, no visual changes happen.   i think problem has root element being control (controlb), doesn’t fire gotostate on desired states.  however, i’m wondering simplest/cleanest way propagate controla’s visualstate changes controlb.  let me know if need more details. thanks help!   henry           in limited experience of  control developing, can think of nothing else call controlb.gotoxxxxstate.     if controlb used here, dont need no states, let visualstate animation of controla manipulate it's ui properties.
