Where's the plugin?

from page:

"microsoft silverlight free web-browser plug-in enables interactive media experiences, rich business applications , immersive mobile apps.

windows? check. mac? check. linux? check."

note, in particular, "linux?  check."  yet if try download linux, you're redirected moonlight, not maintained, has no installables, , supports subset of silverlight @ best.

so, since microsoft says silverlight available linux, it?  not moonlight, not half-baked remake, actual, fully-functioning silverlight microsoft *says right there* available.

or microsoft lying through teeth?  if so, product management, web guys, *someone* on @ ms man enough "no, we've been lying years, cannot trust say"?  there's 0 integrity on there, @ least there might balls.

anyone?  hello?  @ ms capable of stating simple, basic truths?

why @ microsoft care enough lie silverlight working on linux?

what have gain?

.

i'm unclear how word "check" translates guarantee of support 100% of features. have thought reasonable interpretation can possibly work. can.

.

silverlight isn't supported microsoft on linux.

you can see list of operating systems , browsers supported here:

https://www.microsoft.com/getsilverlight/get-started/install/default.aspx#

linux not on list.

i should think sentence on page mistake rather conspiracy fool buying linux machine.

.

there again, there projects such moonlight can run silverlight in linux browser.

or this:

http://www.webupd8.org/2013/08/pipelight-use-silverlight-in-your-linux.html

if can run silverlight 5 app in linux browser that's full functioned you're going get.

hope helps.
