can connect SQL azure database via SSMS, but it failed by sqlcmd.


hi,
i can connect sql azure database via ssms,but when try connect sqlcmd. failed.here error msg:

sqlcmd -s tcp:ux7mpolvl1.ctp.database.windows.net -u ksbsoft@ux7mpolvl1 -p xxxxxxx -d testdb
msg 18456, level 14, state 1, server ux7mpolvl1, line 1
login failed user 'ksbsoft'.

solved.

the problem password. if password include special characters, example (%^&). cmd should (using ""):

sqlcmd -s tcp:ux7mpolvl1.ctp.database.windows.net -u ksbsoft@ux7mpolvl1 -p "xxxxxxx" -d testdb
