How to get .PS1 files to be recognized by TFS

when go edit powershell file in tfs , in vs ide must explicitly check out file other files viewing can jump in , start editing , tfs check out you. how make extensions seemingly unknown tfs known annoying not able check out on fly.

hi brthomas,

you cannot check out file automatically edit if file opened in other software other vs ide.

in other words, if file can opened in vs ide, file can modified in source control explorer.

for example, if want edit ps1 file automatically in source control explorer, can right click file in source explorer, , select open with, in open dialog, if set editor(known tfs mentioned) can open ps1 file such automatic editor selection(xml) default, ps1 file can edit automatically in source control explorer, otherwise, cannot edit it.

hope helps! if have concern, please feel free let me know!

best regards,

cathy kong
