Business Intelligence hardware architechture for Microsoft


hi,
i have hardware configuration question on microsoft bi components.
we have bi solution end end on microsoft . has:

1)sql server 2005 sp2 database
2)ssis
3)ssas
4)ssrs
5)excel 2007
6)wss 3.0 (portal).

can tell me how split hardware alll components above. mean components can/should kept , other should residing on other widows servers performance imporved.

as of thinking of having database , ssis on 1 server box , ssrs , wss on box.

please suggest.

for maximum performance, of things should on own machines, gigabit ethernet (or faster) connecting them.

if had 2 boxes work with, i'd put sql server on box itself, , put rest on another.  sql server focus , should hardware resources can.

SQL server replication error Cannot find the dbo or user defined function........

hi there, i ran problem while deploying sql 2008 transactional replication between 2 servers lets assume server , b. actually created  both distributor , publisher on server , after created subscriber pointed server b, launch replication monitor , found big red cross. when click on tab "distributor subscriber history" error says "cannot find either column "dbo" or user defined-function or aggregate "dbo.ufnleadingzeros", or name ambiguous". can body regarding issue. regards, ishuv hi, you need compare data , others reseved, index size, unused should not compared. differs. here server - data - 87896 kb server b - data - 78152 kb server data size includes publication tables, can't compare directly. need check article article know exact data size.
