A connection cannot be made to redirector. Ensure that 'SQL Browser' service is running.


hi,

i have ssis package connecting analysis services. following error:

source: process cube analysis services execute ddl task
description: connection cannot made redirector. ensure 'sql browser' service running.

the environment:
---------------------
two named ssas 2005 instances on windows cluster
ssis 2005
windows server 2003 x64 sp2
no sql database engine

my findings:
-------------
verified sql browser service (bs) running using admin > services
verified sql browser service (bs) running using sql server configuration manager
unable see bs in sql surface area configuration?

any help?

i moved post ssas forum, seems more of issue ssas environment setup ssis. can connect ssas other tools successfully?

Admin Permissions
