how to link tfs email notification to visual studio


the alert explorer powertool enables creation of email notification tfs on various events, among others upon assigning work item me. the sent email in such event, contains link work item assigned me, link web access form of work item, i.e. clicking link opens work item in tfs web-access within internet explorer.

i wonder if there's possibilty create email notification, within link point work item within visual studio, i.e. clicking link open visual studio (if not open) , focus within visual studio on work item assigned me. way more natural progammer upon getting notification work item assigned him, work item directly within develop env (i.e. within visual studio) rather locating manually after work item presented in web-access.

if there such possibilty, can find simple instructions how implement, better yet example showing how to. thank u.

i don't have examples share, should able using tfs api.

SQL server replication error Cannot find the dbo or user defined function........

hi there, i ran problem while deploying sql 2008 transactional replication between 2 servers lets assume server , b. actually created  both distributor , publisher on server , after created subscriber pointed server b, launch replication monitor , found big red cross. when click on tab "distributor subscriber history" error says "cannot find either column "dbo" or user defined-function or aggregate "dbo.ufnleadingzeros", or name ambiguous". can body regarding issue. regards, ishuv hi, you need compare data , others reseved, index size, unused should not compared. differs. here server - data - 87896 kb server b - data - 78152 kb server data size includes publication tables, can't compare directly. need check article article know exact data size.
