PowerPivot gallery error on snapshot: "System.TimeoutException: The operation has timed out"


hi, i'am having problem getting powerpivot excel workbooks show snapshots in powerpivot gallery.

isnt supposed powerpivot workbooks upload sharepoint sites appear in gemini dashboard? in case graphics blank...

to start troubleshooting issue, have couple of questions...

was workbook created in same version of powerpivot excel powerpivot sharepoint (and using sharepoint , excel 2010 beta, , not excel 2010 technical preview (which earlier version of office))?

are able open workbook in browser , interact (click in slicers/filters/etc)?

do of workbooks error, or one?


the dashboard updated daily, , not right away... after awhile should show there. can, though, force update whenever want.

if go central administration web application > monitoring > review jobs definitions, powerpivot management dashboard processing timer job (or that). if click on you'll have option change frequency (defaulted daily) , have option "run now".

if hit run now, after sometime processing dashboad should updated usage data of workbooks.

SQL server replication error Cannot find the dbo or user defined function........
