SQL 2014: Using SSRS with SSIS to create a large number of PDF files

i have client data form letters have sent stored in database table. legal purposes, want create pdf image of every letter have sent, , create link in table file location pdf lives.

i had thought of creating "letter" ssrs report, , using ssis pump table key report , automatically save results pdf file in directory, update db pointer pdf execute sql step or something.

the concern have i've never used ssrs in batch mode create pdf files, , i'm not sure how efficient -- since i'm going need create 150,000 pdf files. that's long ssis loop. feasible, or should looking @ word mail merge done in batches , maybe encoding db key in file name , having later task run , build db link?

hi joseph,

question if these scanned images (typically happen). if yes, can produce report out of table straight in ssrs without ssis. perhaps need report per image or page, not sure there if users need select print.

but if want non-interactively bulk save images pdfs it'd better done using console app converts each image pdf, btw had done years ago using python had free image pdf converter take advantage of.
