Automatic Column Truncation in SSIS


hi friends,

i have column in excel source length around 1000.

but when selecting .xls file source ssis component automatically setting the datatype of 1 of column 'cosmetic part' to unicode , length 255...which can check from "advance editor -> input , output properties tab"

the original length of column is around 1000 or more...

how can avoid truncation of data ??

open connection manager representing excel file , change length in there suitable length (i.e. increase 255)

SQL server replication error Cannot find the dbo or user defined function........
