Driver for SQL Server CE 4.0 for Entity Framework


hi

sorry if dummy question, trying use new sql server ce 4 database in vs 2010 sp 1 project. installed vs2010 sp1 , tooling support sql server ce 4. can create database , io can connect db via server explorer. unfortunately when try access db entity framework designer ( try generate model db). entity framework designer not show sql ce framework 4.0 driver in list of supported connections. 

is there missing?

there nothing missing, , have required software, edm wizard supports version 4 directly in web projects, noted in blog post: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/sqlservercompact/archive/2011/01/12/microsoft-sql-server-compact-4-0-is-available-for-download.aspx

or generate edmx in web project , move class library / windows project.

SQL server replication error Cannot find the dbo or user defined function........

hi there, i ran problem while deploying sql 2008 transactional replication between 2 servers lets assume server , b. actually created  both distributor , publisher on server , after created subscriber pointed server b, launch replication monitor , found big red cross. when click on tab "distributor subscriber history" error says "cannot find either column "dbo" or user defined-function or aggregate "dbo.ufnleadingzeros", or name ambiguous". can body regarding issue. regards, ishuv hi, you need compare data , others reseved, index size, unused should not compared. differs. here server - data - 87896 kb server b - data - 78152 kb server data size includes publication tables, can't compare directly. need check article article know exact data size.
