Error 17883 with build 2195


we running third party sql server 2000 system has sp4 build 2195. received 17883 error last weekend put database in suspect mode , on. after restart came fine , has not caused issue since. read things hotfix error , build sp4 addresses issue 2187 believe. since our build newer hotfix build next step in resolving issue?

can see error 17883 common on sql server 2000, fixes posted fixes sp4 only.   you can see microsoft have released fixes error , no workarounds. if consider sql server 2000 not supported anymore, , no more fixes released, recommend consider installing fixes , see if issue disappear first step.

SQL server replication error Cannot find the dbo or user defined function........
