How to re-start transactional replication


 

i have clinet using transactional replication in sql server 2000 broke year ago. have been called re-sync 2 databases. best options. cannot delete replicated database have written lot of custom reports on replicated database not exist in source database. ther triggers , sp's on replicated database. one-to-one replication.

 

what best approach keep structure , load fresh set of data , start getting transactinal data copied on . thank sin advance.

best thing script out database objects on subscriber , reinitialize publication. once snapshot applied reapply script.

i'm trying build report show activity for reservations placed and satisfied month branch. the report has parameter the item category and dataset has fields month category branch reservations placed reservations satisfied on front sheet i've created system wide figures 2 columns per month and a matrix broken down category (e.g. child fiction, child non fiction, adult fiction, adult non fiction) has row , column totals. i want have page each branch in system. what's best way of approaching this?  add parent group based on branch field in row groups  and add page breaks repeat matrix report every branch. please mark answer if post solved problem. milan das SQL Server  >  SQL Server Reporting Services, Power View ...
