Building HL7 file from SQL Server Database.


hi,

i have been asked develop hl7 file from 1 of sql server (2000) databases to send receiving party. i've seen biztalk has capabilities of building hl7 files biztalk i'm not familiar @ all. wondering if had experience this. i'm trying weigh-out wether it'll better write sql code output data in format, or learn how on biztalk scratch. both challenge it'd feel more comfortable writing script in sql server....depending on how hard learn biztalk. useful thoughts on topic appreciated. in advance.

since doing a08 , a31's take few minutes , try make quick query it. parts going easy, header , control characters straight text. teh rest depends on database design how simple or complex query be, 2 events shouldn't complex, long (because of field , text concatination).

once have query easy enough set job osql output file can picked up, or have interface (if using like cloverleaf [i think it sold by mckesson?]) to database given query, though newer interface engines should able this.

SQL server replication error Cannot find the dbo or user defined function........

hi there, i ran problem while deploying sql 2008 transactional replication between 2 servers lets assume server , b. actually created  both distributor , publisher on server , after created subscriber pointed server b, launch replication monitor , found big red cross. when click on tab "distributor subscriber history" error says "cannot find either column "dbo" or user defined-function or aggregate "dbo.ufnleadingzeros", or name ambiguous". can body regarding issue. regards, ishuv hi, you need compare data , others reseved, index size, unused should not compared. differs. here server - data - 87896 kb server b - data - 78152 kb server data size includes publication tables, can't compare directly. need check article article know exact data size.
