sfB, Microsoft SDN, and Aruba (HPE) SDN question?

just re-iterate, have sfb installation on 2012 r2 servers, multiple fes running ms sdn listeners pointing pool of sdn managers (dns load balanced , sql db). works great, communication on http (port 9333), , according logs, no issues.

my issue communication between ms sdn managers , aruba van sdn controller. have replaced self-cert on aruba controller cert signed windows ent ca , imported both signed , root cert ca aruba controller per admin guide controller. no issues can foresee here. when browse sdn controller via browser, certificate shown 1 generated , shows certificate chain ca.

i running ms sdn 2.2 recommended api work latest hpe network optimizer 1.5.4 trying working on aruba sdn 2.8.8 controller.

i following https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/office/dn785201.aspx  for type of certificate needed on sdn managers, appears web server cert. since default web server certificate template not allow key exportation, duplicated template, made allowance exporting of keys (since have use on 2 sdn managers in pool), used new template per link shown. applied thumbprint number given on certificate clientcertificateid= parameter of subscriber, based on sdn manager log files, unable establish secure ssl/tls channel between two. (see sample log output)
