SSDT and the Excel Data Sources for Tabular Models


hello,

i'm facing problem when trying data out of excel files, hosted on sharepoint, using ace.oledb provider.

have remote analysis services instance (in tabular mode), , i'm trying deploy tabular model excel data source. however, each time try add, these errors:

ole db or odbc error: unspecified error.
a connection not made data source datasourceid of '2065ab89-2ecb-4ea2-8fc9-ff55cbd98801', name of 'excel projects-83431-83301'.
an error occurred while processing partition 'mira_2916b1ff-19e1-4427-a50c-542299fcf55c' in table 'mira_2916b1ff-19e1-4427-a50c-542299fcf55c'.
the current operation cancelled because operation in transaction failed.

tried again same file, no explicit credentials defined, , happens:

ole db or odbc error: failure creating file.; 3436.
a connection not made data source datasourceid of 'b98fddeb-2eb2-409b-a059-b1bdd2d6efbf', name of 'excel projects-83431-83301 2'.
an error occurred while processing partition 'xpress_d0681073-6f82-419f-9aab-c36461b69583' in table 'xpress_d0681073-6f82-419f-9aab-c36461b69583'.
the current operation cancelled because operation in transaction failed.

desktop experience installed on windows server, ssas server hosted (referring tip: http://powerpivotgeek.com/2010/08/18/working-with-the-2010-office-ace-provider/)

have ever experienced issue? idea on may blocking connection?

SQL server replication error Cannot find the dbo or user defined function........
