unable to install sql server 2008 r2 on windows server 2008 r2


i tried install sql server 2008 r2 in windows server 2008 r2 and i "exception thrown external exponent",  tried  installing 10 times same result ( both data center , enterprise).

really frustrated.  appreciated

hi sunil,

this appears may due windows os build version deployed. please check not using debug version of operation system.

for example:
"windows 2008 enterprise
copyright 2007 microsoft corporation. rights reserved. debug"

we recommend normal , non-debug version of operation system. check computer properties , ensure windows edition not listed debug edition.

SQL server replication error Cannot find the dbo or user defined function........
