Need insight into SetExecutionParameters step

sql server  reporting services - sharepoint integrated mode

hi,

we hare several reports running slower on windows server machine, opposed  a developer's workstation (e.g.  windows 7). we've narrowed down slowness  the  setexecutionparameters service method. according  to  the sharepoint trace log, takes  about 10-11 seconds on windows server machine, whereas 3-4 seconds on win 7 machine.

according  to msdn, method "sets , validates parameter values associated current report execution."

https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/reportexecution2005.reportexecutionservice.setexecutionparameters(v=sql.110).aspx

any idea on how can more information on service method? how can determine why slow on server 2012? reports in question have boatload of parameters (100+).

we've tested  with  all  the components on single  machine, , components on different machines (e.g. sql server on machine 1, sharepoint on machine2). tested using vms, , bare metal servers. results same. decent on developer's  workstations (physical).

thanks,
pimy
