Full Text Search for Images ( Scanned documents)


hi,

using sql server 2008 , full text search.

working fine pdf / doc files not working .jpg files.

have document scanned , stored in varbinnary datatype in db.

able search .doc /.xml /.pdf files .. not able search .jpg.

not getting ".jgp" extension in result of following query


select document_type, version, manufacturer
sys.fulltext_document_types order document_type



please suggest, how it

if want use full-text search .jpg document, need install full-text search filter this document type. can find more information on bol, see full-text search filters.

Admin Permissions
