Using fixed downloaded source code for building project.


hello.

i'm trying configure team foundation server project.

it's getting finished, i've faced problem.

to address situation, have 2 separated solution files share source code. , i've defined many build definitions on tfs build projects different build configurations provide proper locale builds. because source code 700 mbytes, pulling down source code tfs(git) takes long time every locale builds.

as know, build agents download source code temporary directory has name hash-coded. builds download same source code each temporary folders redundantly.

if can set build agent fixed path share source code among different build definitions, can save lot of time pull source code down.

how can it?

if don’t want pull share source code tfs server build agent each time when queue build definition, can set clean repository = false in build definition, tfs run incremental build: http://www.woodwardweb.com/vsts/tfs/incremental_bui.html.

SQL server replication error Cannot find the dbo or user defined function........

hi there, i ran problem while deploying sql 2008 transactional replication between 2 servers lets assume server , b. actually created  both distributor , publisher on server , after created subscriber pointed server b, launch replication monitor , found big red cross. when click on tab "distributor subscriber history" error says "cannot find either column "dbo" or user defined-function or aggregate "dbo.ufnleadingzeros", or name ambiguous". can body regarding issue. regards, ishuv hi, you need compare data , others reseved, index size, unused should not compared. differs. here server - data - 87896 kb server b - data - 78152 kb server data size includes publication tables, can't compare directly. need check article article know exact data size.
