TFS server access remotly with out VPN


hi ,

we have setup tpf server 2008 at our organization here in india , exposed tfs server on public ip. when our client tries access server below error.

"tf31004:team foundation encountered unexpected error while connecting team foundaton server<server name>.wait few minutes , try again. if problem persists, contact team foundation server administrator"

client accessing server using public ip , using vs 2008 team explorer. have created domain user (windows) client given access them.

client not using vpn connection access tfs.

is neccesary connect our domain through vpn access tfs server 2008 remotly?

no don't need vpn. via public ip possible.

i have installed myself. is a smal company: in nat of router of company, reroute port 8080 correct internal ip adres (open firewall ports when applicable) , ready run.

it possible install ssl, there articles how achieven on net. never done myself though.

SQL server replication error Cannot find the dbo or user defined function........

hi there, i ran problem while deploying sql 2008 transactional replication between 2 servers lets assume server , b. actually created  both distributor , publisher on server , after created subscriber pointed server b, launch replication monitor , found big red cross. when click on tab "distributor subscriber history" error says "cannot find either column "dbo" or user defined-function or aggregate "dbo.ufnleadingzeros", or name ambiguous". can body regarding issue. regards, ishuv hi, you need compare data , others reseved, index size, unused should not compared. differs. here server - data - 87896 kb server b - data - 78152 kb server data size includes publication tables, can't compare directly. need check article article know exact data size.
