Editing Build Template using Custom Activity not from GAC


hello,

is there way edit (customize) build template use custom activity when assembly of activity not in gac? in other words, can add assembly system.activities components without registering in gac?

do need installing custom activity assembly in gac on building machine? machine running both controller , agent. machine running agent, need custom activity assembly installed then: in both machines, agent machine?

i found out solution. seems not required register custom action assembly in gac being able add visualstudio toolbox. however, if assembly isn't registered in gac, impossible drop item (that represents custom action assembly) workflow of build template. maybe placing assembly in 1 of locations windows search can solve issue well. not know, didn't try.

SQL server replication error Cannot find the dbo or user defined function........
