TFS 2008 Direct Migration to TFS 2013


hi,

so have seen couple of blogs says there no direct migration of team foundation server 2008 2013. rather have 2012 , migrate 2013.

so can me whether microsoft recommends direct migration 2008 2013 without additional steps in between. if so, how , share me links.

we cannot upgrade tfs 2008 tfs 2013 directly, please refer tfs 2013 upgrade requirements in document:https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd631912%28v=vs.120%29.aspx?f=255&mspperror=-2147217396.

so suggest upgrade tfs 2008 tfs 2012 first, upgrade tfs 2012 tfs 2013.

SQL server replication error Cannot find the dbo or user defined function........

hi there, i ran problem while deploying sql 2008 transactional replication between 2 servers lets assume server , b. actually created  both distributor , publisher on server , after created subscriber pointed server b, launch replication monitor , found big red cross. when click on tab "distributor subscriber history" error says "cannot find either column "dbo" or user defined-function or aggregate "dbo.ufnleadingzeros", or name ambiguous". can body regarding issue. regards, ishuv hi, you need compare data , others reseved, index size, unused should not compared. differs. here server - data - 87896 kb server b - data - 78152 kb server data size includes publication tables, can't compare directly. need check article article know exact data size.
