"PREEMPTIVE_OS_WSASETLASTERROR" what does this means?


i have "preemptive_os_wsasetlasterror" highest wait type, 31% of wait types, , waits on average 2.24 seconds!

what that? , how improve it?

 

i'm saying fishy here - or system flowing gently, 1 of few things takes time. again, 2.24 s per call set error code? not sound normal.

what can dba? not think. if have genuine performance problem can relate wait state, need give guys , gals @ css call. seems me time serious windows debugging here.

then again, if system running fine, should smile , happy. :-)
