Team Foundation CAL Requirements


 

we're go live on team foundation server 2008 trial edition, , have question regarding cals. 

 

1.  tfs2008 trial edition, need cals during 90-day period try out tfs?  users use full functionality of product?

 

2.  microsoft gold partner , msdn subscriber.  there products on msdn downloads satisfy cal requirements, such vs team system, etc?  haven't found any, wanted check here first.  or need purchase cals entire team?

1. not sure hope dont need , reason if pay trial period clients means should support clients think dont when run trial edition.

 

2. gold partner recieve licenses tfs , vsts , need check partner kit that. infact there pdf document saw @ gold partner firm have whole list of softwares , number of license granted them , should check out local microsoft support that.most of times vsts client licences not enough (depends upon need) in case have buy licenses. more details can found here licensing

SQL server replication error Cannot find the dbo or user defined function........

hi there, i ran problem while deploying sql 2008 transactional replication between 2 servers lets assume server , b. actually created  both distributor , publisher on server , after created subscriber pointed server b, launch replication monitor , found big red cross. when click on tab "distributor subscriber history" error says "cannot find either column "dbo" or user defined-function or aggregate "dbo.ufnleadingzeros", or name ambiguous". can body regarding issue. regards, ishuv hi, you need compare data , others reseved, index size, unused should not compared. differs. here server - data - 87896 kb server b - data - 78152 kb server data size includes publication tables, can't compare directly. need check article article know exact data size.
