sbs2003r2 sp1 w updates off (2007), added sql2008r2 (2010) - all good UNTIL - server updates turned on


now numerous sharepoint errors , amicus attorney database 2010pe malfunctioning (which installed embedded sql 2008r2) 

the server updates turned off box isolated , no database involved @ time.  when sql added installers inadvertantly instructed server control updates of 7 attached pcs (no sus , pcs set update automatically on own).  

problems arose when server updated , sus 3.0 installed allow server control updates of pcs.   skill level moderate knowledge of server install not of sql, sus or how 3 years of update patches , sus3.0 download may have impacted database application.

SQL server replication error Cannot find the dbo or user defined function........
