Control does not become focussed when clicked
hi everyone,
i've new silverlight, apologies such simple question:
i've built simple templated control similar button changes colour , forth when clicked. works a-ok, neither control nor child elements become focussed when clicked. child elements still fire mouseleftbuttondown/up events, focus remain on e.g. standard button on page clicked earlier. focus() , using tab key sucessfully focus control. standard behaviour silverlight require call focus() when clicked? doesn't seem right...
any advice warmly recieved!
[if relevant, i'm using silverlight 5 beta, can reproduce in silverlight 4]
hi,
could provide a repro project can test , investigate issue?
if want change colour of button, a simple thing in blend:
1. open project in blend.
2. right click button control in objects , timeline panel (or in design window) -> edit template -> edit copy -> pick name -> click ok button.
3. can change whatever want editing properties in properties window.
hope helps.
