Date formatting problem with BIDS


i've moved new pc, , had bids installed on it.  machine dates set international standard (dd/mm/yyyy).

i opened existing report modify includes date range in parameters.  when tried test preview of report in bids, got invalid data error on first date parameter.  after bit of fiddling around, worked out let me input dates in format, yet after input dates converted international format.  when deployed report server, report requires dates input in international format.

i've spent half hour checking machine , bids try , find cause of problem, , i'm stumped.

any suggestions?

what date format database (not report server) using?

SQL server replication error Cannot find the dbo or user defined function........
