tfs backup problem


running tfs 2008 sql 2005 sp2.  have 2 maintenance plans backup:

 

1.  full backup (all databases) unc a path - runs once per month

2.  log backup (all databases) unc b path - runs daily

 

job 1 runs fine without errors.   job 2 pukes every time , says check history / log more info.  check history / log , doesnt show detail actual underlyling error. soooooooooooo..... decided view sql job #2.   copy sql job , go run manually in sql server mgmt studio.  job tsql runs fine without error!!!    1 have suggestions?

it's working i that changed job use unc based backup device (instead of unc path directly).     other problem reportservertempdb set simple recovery mode cant have transaction log backup performed on it.

 

are recommended maintenance plans for the tfs 2008 db's?

SQL server replication error Cannot find the dbo or user defined function........

hi there, i ran problem while deploying sql 2008 transactional replication between 2 servers lets assume server , b. actually created  both distributor , publisher on server , after created subscriber pointed server b, launch replication monitor , found big red cross. when click on tab "distributor subscriber history" error says "cannot find either column "dbo" or user defined-function or aggregate "dbo.ufnleadingzeros", or name ambiguous". can body regarding issue. regards, ishuv hi, you need compare data , others reseved, index size, unused should not compared. differs. here server - data - 87896 kb server b - data - 78152 kb server data size includes publication tables, can't compare directly. need check article article know exact data size.
