another copying sql 200 database to sql 2005 problem


 

using server management tool/database/tasks/import data wizaard able connect sql 2005 database sql2000 database on private lan.  moves tables , data fine.  drops keys in process.  not acceptable

 

server management tool/database/tasks/copy database command supposed copy database info.  better solution.  however, when enter exact same connection information used /import data wizard, connection fails.

 

why same connection information work /import data wizard fails for  /copy database wizard?

SQL server replication error Cannot find the dbo or user defined function........
