How to schedule Merge Agent


hi,

 we have 2 databases merge replicated 2 subscribers. merge agent scheduled run @ 5pm everyday. have scenario.

the agent start run on 15th march. merge agent running average of 18hours.replication agent shows agent ran out errors , completed on 16th march 8:30am.

there updated replicated table on 16th march 2:30am. updates have not gone through subscriber. merge agent running , agent started on 16th march 5pm.

will updates happened table @ 2:30 on march16th propagated subscriber on run.? how can reduce latency @ subscriber?

how should determine best way schedule merge agent?

please advice me on this

have subscriptions taken 2 days synchronize?

having subscriptions set never expire can negatively impact replication performance since metadata never cleaned up.  recommended set retention period value can reliably predict subscribers synchronize within period.

SQL server replication error Cannot find the dbo or user defined function........

hi there, i ran problem while deploying sql 2008 transactional replication between 2 servers lets assume server , b. actually created  both distributor , publisher on server , after created subscriber pointed server b, launch replication monitor , found big red cross. when click on tab "distributor subscriber history" error says "cannot find either column "dbo" or user defined-function or aggregate "dbo.ufnleadingzeros", or name ambiguous". can body regarding issue. regards, ishuv hi, you need compare data , others reseved, index size, unused should not compared. differs. here server - data - 87896 kb server b - data - 78152 kb server data size includes publication tables, can't compare directly. need check article article know exact data size.
