SSIS vs Workflow 4 for business rules

have process doing number of things

- getting data from/into multiple sql server databases on multiple servers
- updating data in databases using business rules , xml schema processing
- generating xml data go different parts of various systems

while of in ssis, considering workflow 4 tool locate type of logic.  have other processes in ssis move data into/out of sql.  however, wanting separate of distinct "buckets" isnt running on sql server.  if spin sql server run ssis on, have additional licensing costs, 1 thing.

at end of day, coming down choice based on our skill sets serve best.  consideration alone, going workflow.  our sql version 2005, , feel more comfortable c# , visual studio bids.

anyone else had make kind of decision?

are going use windows workflow?

yes, ssis not have rich support xml.

bids , c# 2 different things, ssis's paradigm not coding long - provides solution faster.

imo, choice seems reasonable.
