microsoft has created new forums platform (msdn | technet | expression | microsoft) increased performance, stability, , improved user experience. during week of 12/8   this forum moving new platform. make sure smooth transition, want using forum have chance try out new forums in advance, , give feedback. we’ve created sandbox forum, can create threads , try out functionality, , suggestions forum can give feedback. please take time go new forums today , let know think.

 

on day forum moves new platform, post made letting know process has been started, , forum locked new posts. once process complete, final post forum made letting know forum has moved.

 

1.       all posts in forum preserved

2.       any points you’ve received replies move (on per forum basis)

3.       any bookmarks forum or threads within forum redirect new location

4.       your “my threads” preserved on new platform

 

the thing you’ll need after migration set windows live alerts threads tracking.

SQL server replication error Cannot find the dbo or user defined function........

hi there, i ran problem while deploying sql 2008 transactional replication between 2 servers lets assume server , b. actually created  both distributor , publisher on server , after created subscriber pointed server b, launch replication monitor , found big red cross. when click on tab "distributor subscriber history" error says "cannot find either column "dbo" or user defined-function or aggregate "dbo.ufnleadingzeros", or name ambiguous". can body regarding issue. regards, ishuv hi, you need compare data , others reseved, index size, unused should not compared. differs. here server - data - 87896 kb server b - data - 78152 kb server data size includes publication tables, can't compare directly. need check article article know exact data size.
