Multiple instances of SQL server 2008, multiple instances of Reporting Services with multiple ports!


hi all,

i'm looking advice,

we have 3 instances of sql server 2008 on server 1 each having own rs instance installed, have server (server 2) 3 more instances of rs installed pointing @ reportserver of sql instance on server 1.

so multi tier rs instances on multi boxes scale out deployment.

we seem having difficulty around getting 3 instances of rs on server 2 work. have had them working on own spn's applied/not applied kerberos enabled/disabled.

we struggling 3 instances on server 2 work @ same time. i've been having read , come rswebapplication config , mention of pointing particular instance of rs report server.

 

if has advice appreciated.

SQL server replication error Cannot find the dbo or user defined function........

hi there, i ran problem while deploying sql 2008 transactional replication between 2 servers lets assume server , b. actually created  both distributor , publisher on server , after created subscriber pointed server b, launch replication monitor , found big red cross. when click on tab "distributor subscriber history" error says "cannot find either column "dbo" or user defined-function or aggregate "dbo.ufnleadingzeros", or name ambiguous". can body regarding issue. regards, ishuv hi, you need compare data , others reseved, index size, unused should not compared. differs. here server - data - 87896 kb server b - data - 78152 kb server data size includes publication tables, can't compare directly. need check article article know exact data size.
