Break up 380gig SQL Backup file to 10% chunks.


due past sql admin's understanding of backup procedures, inherated a large full , incremental backup file, 1,5 years of data. 

this file 380gig , taking time backup , verify.  take let's 10% chunks pick point in time can begin correct backup procedures.

 

 

there no mechanism delete specific backup out of file.  have set retention period when backup, , allows backup overwritten in backup set.  recourse start fresh backup set, , provide retention period allow backups overwritten when expire.

SQL server replication error Cannot find the dbo or user defined function........
