report not seeing or accepting passed parameter Procedure or function 'sp' expects parameter '@DateFrom', which was not supplied.


the report expects 2 date parameters @datefrom , @dateto

but when run either visual studio or online reportserver error msg

  • an error has occurred during report processing.
    • query execution failed data set 'datasource1'.
      • procedure or function 'spspark_servicesitems' expects parameter '@datefrom', not supplied. 

the spelling , case correct datefrom param

i can run sp sql server without problem

thanks post , others’ replies.

you said  that sp run normally  sql server without problem, can copy t-sql script directly query string textbox of dataset, specify query type text well, in way, unneccesary create report parameters mapping relevant parameter of sp, due when run sp in sql server, had replace parameters actual  values.

otherwise, if specify query type stored procedure, can type in procedure name query textbox, , switch parameters tab, add relevant prameters of sp, , accociate parameters report parameter(you should create report parameters primer).
