Replication Monitor: Publication Node will not expand


hi,

i'm using sql server 2005 replication monitor monitor number of publications.

one publication node, not expand however, when clicked it's label changes expanding , never completes in order provide details of publications @ publisher. means cannot highlight specific publication @ publisher further investigation , instead have review subscriptions in subscription watch list, cumbersome.

i have tried removing publication , adding replication monitor without success, issue persists. have tried creating sql server login sysdba rights in order connect remote distributor in order rule out a permissions issue.

has else come across issue before or can perhaps provide further suggestions in order troubleshoot?

did run sql profiler , @ object 'expanding' locking?

how many publications have?

if have plenty, server working hard respond , have wait little longe usual, perhaps 5 - 6 minutes in cases.

SQL server replication error Cannot find the dbo or user defined function........

hi there, i ran problem while deploying sql 2008 transactional replication between 2 servers lets assume server , b. actually created  both distributor , publisher on server , after created subscriber pointed server b, launch replication monitor , found big red cross. when click on tab "distributor subscriber history" error says "cannot find either column "dbo" or user defined-function or aggregate "dbo.ufnleadingzeros", or name ambiguous". can body regarding issue. regards, ishuv hi, you need compare data , others reseved, index size, unused should not compared. differs. here server - data - 87896 kb server b - data - 78152 kb server data size includes publication tables, can't compare directly. need check article article know exact data size.
