Restoring MSDE SQL 2000 DB to SQL 2005 Enterprise Edition


 

hi all,

 

i trying restore msde 2000 database sql 20005 ee , got stuck with following error:

 

system.data.sqlclient.sqlerror: restore detected error on page (xxxx:xxxxxx) in database 'testdb' as read backup set.

 

do think pages corrupt db or backup set?

 

has come across this? ideas to resolve error?

i not sure if might ! try verify if backup file corrupted or not !

restore verifyonly disk='path\backupfilename.bak'


may file might have been corrupted !

SQL server replication error Cannot find the dbo or user defined function........
