What's the best way to present BI/SSAS?


i curious, adapting ssas 2005 bi, , ssrs 2005 report
we use sharepoint 2003 now, great presenting ssrs

what's best way present ssas though?
i know can report in ssrs ssas, using cube data source
but if users want slice-and-dice, change filter criterias?

i wouldn't want create ssrs report what-if conditions
and great if ssrs' "report builder" feature works on cube, it?

other ways can think of
- give users permission ssas server, , install 2005 mgmt studio on desktop can browse cube? (definitely not installing visual studio 2005)
- build every report every request?
- build general one, , let them drill-down extent?

you have quite few options;

use excel pivottables connect analysis services directly. excel 2007 beta shows great inprovements in as-related functionality.

recently aquired proclarity not part of microsoft product line. 1 of advanced clients on market.

you cannot install ssms on client machines, used administrative purposes only.

SQL server replication error Cannot find the dbo or user defined function........

hi there, i ran problem while deploying sql 2008 transactional replication between 2 servers lets assume server , b. actually created  both distributor , publisher on server , after created subscriber pointed server b, launch replication monitor , found big red cross. when click on tab "distributor subscriber history" error says "cannot find either column "dbo" or user defined-function or aggregate "dbo.ufnleadingzeros", or name ambiguous". can body regarding issue. regards, ishuv hi, you need compare data , others reseved, index size, unused should not compared. differs. here server - data - 87896 kb server b - data - 78152 kb server data size includes publication tables, can't compare directly. need check article article know exact data size.
