if standalone sql server installation fails, how troubleshoot? causes failure pls explain how resolve taking causes?

dear surya,

 your step should mentioned olaf.log files gives whole lot of information why sql serevr setup failed.if read logs surely find out reason or clue why installation failed.

if follow prerequisites particular software installation chances of installation failiing less.

make sure administrator in windows when install sql server setup alternatively can rk on setup.exe file , run administrator.

SQL server replication error Cannot find the dbo or user defined function........
