All tables,views,ect. dropped over night (northeurope, Azure Productive, Standard S2)


this morning when arrived in office (6am. gmt) tables, views, ect. 1 of our databases gone without user interaction or scripts running. restore data yesterday in azure management portal, intresting if else had similar problems night. there geral azure sql problem?

our server located in northeurope , db azure productive standards2.

michael , spoke morning , wanted circle on thread provide context others have hit similar issue.

there bug in ssms such when 1 uses object explorer , right-clicks open query windows particular database, , particular database experiencing unavailability @ time, ssms default connection master database.  thus if 1 executes query in window, query fail , appear tables/schema absent because query executed against master database.

this bug understand , fixing.  we releasing sql server management studio (ssms) on monthly cadence , newest bits can found here [link].

SQL server replication error Cannot find the dbo or user defined function........

hi there, i ran problem while deploying sql 2008 transactional replication between 2 servers lets assume server , b. actually created  both distributor , publisher on server , after created subscriber pointed server b, launch replication monitor , found big red cross. when click on tab "distributor subscriber history" error says "cannot find either column "dbo" or user defined-function or aggregate "dbo.ufnleadingzeros", or name ambiguous". can body regarding issue. regards, ishuv hi, you need compare data , others reseved, index size, unused should not compared. differs. here server - data - 87896 kb server b - data - 78152 kb server data size includes publication tables, can't compare directly. need check article article know exact data size.
