Could I have some sort of network issue attempting to data pump an Excel spreadsheet to SQL Server?


i seem have recurring problem when trying load excel spreadsheet exists on network server sql server using ssis package have developed on local machine. if attempt use local c: drive, works fine. if change excel connection manager on excel source network location of file end error.

i have altered validateexternalmetadata property options false , have changed data flow task property delayvalidation true.

i'm wondering if it's sort of network issue chokes up.

is there can try , work file on network server? or has experienced same issue?

not network issue.it due $ letter in sheet name invalid excel connection.

Admin Permissions
